About

An operator's road to ownership.

Before Aadriv Global was an investment firm, it was an idea shaped on a factory floor. Daksh Talwar spent two decades building Everest Blowers, a family-run engineering business in Delhi — and within it, pioneered the domestic manufacture of Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps, a product category India had until then only imported.

Building a precision-engineering brand from India taught lessons no textbook offers: what a genuine competitive moat feels like from the inside, why working capital is a matter of survival rather than a line item, how customer trust is earned over years and lost in a day, and what separates managements that build from managements that extract.

The business grew into a premium brand with a global footprint. And then came the hardest decision an operator faces — guided by his father's counsel, Daksh chose a well-timed exit, converting decades of operating value into permanent capital.

In 2024, that capital found its new home: full-time investing in Indian listed companies through Aadriv Global. Not as a hobby, and not as a trading desk — but as a disciplined ownership practice, applying an operator's eye to public markets.

The transition was natural. An investor who has run a plant reads an annual report differently. Capacity utilisation, receivable cycles, capex discipline, the tone of a management on a difficult earnings call — these are not abstractions to someone who has lived them.

Aadriv Global today manages a concentrated portfolio across Indian large-cap, mid-cap, and emerging companies, with a holding horizon measured in years and a research process built on primary documents.

Today

A concentrated, long-horizon portfolio of Indian listed businesses, researched from primary sources and held with patience.

Daksh lives in New Delhi with his family. Away from markets, his time goes to golf, good food, music, and long conversations. His broader compass owes much to a simple framework: health, wealth, and happiness — in that order, and with wealth understood as far more than a portfolio value.
